Day 12-13: The Second Weekend

The wind last Friday night was too strong that I had a hard time sleeping. The rain wasn't as strong, but it rained the entire Saturday. The good thing about it was that I didn't have to go around picking the yang mei fruit which I was starting to get tired of. There weren't a lot of customers who would come to play or pick fruits, only a few who would drink tea, buy fruits and other products or order meals. I just stayed indoors, drank tea, watched TV and talked with Auntie again. She told me about how little brother was when he was young. He would tell his brother to go away because "mommy is his". How cute is that?

We delivered food again to the gambling house... which turns out to be super illegal that they actually have someone who's constantly watching the front gate in case cops arrive. I wonder what would happen if cops really did come while we were there. (Illegal gambling, a foreigner and a high school kid driving without a license!)

Sunday's weather was a lot better, so it was busy again. We went to this wholesale market which was crazier than the market we usually go to. There were these motorcycles to deliver the bought goods. Auntie bought so much stuff, from vegetables, meat and snacks, some of which were resold to customers and some were for the family. I actually don't know how or if she still takes note of the expenses.

A lot of cute kids came as well~ I played with some of them and even gave them chocnut! There was one super talkative and active kid who insisted on helping out with drying the tea leaves under the sun. I love talking to kids because they use simpler sentences and never make me feel awkward. And they're cute! ^^

The start of an award winning tea!

I promised to be closer with the little brother this weekend. He actually called me 姐, which made this 누나 melt really happy. I didn't know how to respond, so I just hid among the trees until he eventually found me. LOL Maybe I should start writing this blog in Tagalog just in case...

I knew that the dog was key to be closer to him. So after the stressful day, I sat beside him and made small talk while playing with the dog. I even watched him bathing the dog~ which happens to limp just like Chuchu (from co.lab)! I was feeling a bit down because I was tired, feeling bored and it was too noisy. But after being able to chat with the little brother, I felt happy again. He even made this yummy pork noodle soup for dinner. Can I bring this little brother home? :)
