Day 31: Tea Picking and a Beer Party

 
I woke up at 5:30am so I can watch the hired workers manually pick tea leaves near Uncle's old house.

 I walked home alone and almost got lost~ But found my way anyway because of signs that pointed to the Cloud and Sea Leisure Farm.

Endless rows of tea bushes~

Auntie drove the car today, which is something she doesn't do regularly. It felt awkward, and we even had a little embarrassing (but funny) moment at the grocery parking lot because we couldn't figure out how to work the automated machine at the exit. I was also surprised to see her buy 2 huge cans of beer because they don't really drink at home. She said that she's been wanting to drink the past few days. She should've asked me, I've been looking for a drinking buddy as well! When we got home, Auntie, little brother and I had a little beer party. Little brother was all red and went to sleep early because of school tomorrow, and Auntie offered to "accompany me until we get drunk". But I told her that "no, we cannot do that". Besides, we both might get scolded by Uncle if we wake up super late tomorrow! Maybe we can do that when this whole Yang Mei Fruit Harvest Season is completely over.
